The Rue de Paris, formerly the faubourg Saint-Martin, leads to the cemetery and the old Saint-Martin church. The old road from Paris to Rennes followed this street. Like other streets in the town, porch houses line the north side. Some of these porches disappeared when the Alignment Plan of 1842 was applied. Until 1803, the Saint-Martin parish was only an annexe of the Notre-Dame parish, which explains the simplicity of the old church, which was then destroyed in 1897 after the new Saint-Martin church was inaugurated. The 15th century bell tower and 17th century roof are all that remain
